Super nice service (boss), delicious food, beautiful beer garden, always worth a detour, hold on

Cozy beer garden with friendly service, some of whom are also funny. The menu is rather clear and simple. The food came quickly and tasted great. The in-house Letscho is highly recommended. We were very satisfied and would love to come back. Small drawback: Unfortunately, the parking options are not so good, narrow streets and there is a lot going on at the weekend. There are still 2 castles / fortresses in the place, where some people are also traveling.

Wanted to eat something on Friday evening Service drunk and the ordered Soljanka inedible ... Toast moldy! Never again!!

The waitress was clearly drunk and lewd (thought my father-in-law was hot). Food was enjoyable, but nothing more! Fanta and lemonade were stale.

The waitress probably had 4 eighth in the tower.

We were on Saturday, July 18th, 2020 for dinner in the beer garden. We had freshly smoked trout and liver cheese with fried egg, both with fried potatoes. Very very tasty. The beer garden is very nice, really quaint. The boss served very personally and right Saxon humor. Was funny. It was a very beautiful evening! Thank you very much!

If you like home-cooked food, you can eat here in peace. The price - performance ratio is right, the food is perfectly seasoned and the service is also very friendly. The delicious fried potatoes and homemade letscho are recommended. The cozy beer garden invites you to relax. We would definitely like to come back.

We were visiting the beer garden and found it very pleasant. The dishes were good and inexpensive. I really enjoyed the fried potatoes. The service was very good, friendly, easy to deal with and had a nice sense of humor. Those who just want to eat and are not afraid of the proximity to the local guests present are in good hands here.

Quaint restaurant with a lot of flair. Cheap prices and tasty home cooking - the homemade brawn is lonely top. There was even mulled wine in April with icy spring weather.

Nice pub with kitchen, and fun service. Had Budapest Schnitzel, with homemade sauce and fresh paprika. Fries and salad, friendly service and food fresh from the pan. Can you recommend!

Superb food which was excellent value for money. Vibrant host. All in the shadow of Colditz Castle. What more could you wish for?

Very friendly host. Drinks were great. The spaghetti with meat sauce wasn't to the kids' taste, it probably had a lot of ketchup in it. The rest of the food was fine without being great. It has a lovely outdoors for a summer's evening.

Stay away. Strange service and food that is bad. A schnitzel that was almost Un eatable with sallad that tasted strange...

Seemed to be the only Restaurant in Colditz, food was good, hospitality was great, very welcoming staff, would definitely eat here again.

Great ! We visited Colditz for a tour of the castle in October 2015, and were looking for somewhere to eat on a cold, monday evening in town, after the tour had finished. This was recommended to us. A really friendly, intimate little Bar Restaurant, with excellent home cooked food. We will definitely visit again :) Phil and Samantha

Ate there twice last April, it's a nice little pub with good hearty grub. The owner was a good sort and the beers and wines OK to...... Cant understand what the Dutch guy was moaning about ?
